Cory Penfold LAT, ATC

Cory Penfold LAT

Cory grew up in the Garland area where he played football and basketball at Garland high school. From there he went on to study at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Tx. Cory then graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Bachelor of Behavioral Science in Athletic Training in 2018. Right after graduating he spent time with the Dallas Cowboys as an Athletic Training Intern and has now been with our team since October 2018.

Over his time in collegiate and professional sports Cory learned that his true passion was to be able to help more than just athletes. He believes that healthcare providers should always have the patient's best interests in mind, and that no one should have to live a life stuck in pain or held back from their goals. Cory strives to provide compassionate and world class care to every patient that walks through our doors.

Daniel Trevizo, PT, DPT

Daniel Trevizo, PT, DPT

Dr. Daniel Trevizo is our standout physical therapist who joined our team in September 2020. Daniel received his Bachelor's of Exercise Science and Kinesiology from California State University of Los Angeles, CA in 2015, and then went on to receive his Doctorate's in Physical Therapy at the University of St. Augustine Health Sciences in Austin, TX in 2020. He has 3 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics and has worked with populations in geriatrics, the weekend warriors, and elite athletics. Before receiving his Doctoral degree, he lead a team of students from his alma mater to help re-establish a free, structured, exercise program called 100 Citizens (now called 3 Wins Fitness), which was delivered to the underserved community of East Los Angeles.

When it comes to physical therapy, his philosophy is that the human body is amazingly adaptable body, and it can do wonderful things with the proper coaching and guidance. He believes in being a patient advocate: doing whatever it takes to make sure the patient receives the best care tailored for them. It is also important to him that the patient is involved in the direction of their care, as it can help drive patient independence and empowerment.

Dr. Trevizo's passions include staying active with kettlebell workouts and olympic weightlifting, playing golf, watching baseball and spending time with his family.

Kyle Forbes, PTA

Kyle is an Aggie who graduated in 2015 from Texas A&M with a B.S. in Kinesiology. He's been working in healthcare ever since.

Kyle returned to school in 2017 at Concorde Career Colleges, Dallas. He graduated and passed his national board exam in April 2019. He has picked up many tips and tricks along the way. His specialty is manual therapy, specifically utilizing myofascial release techniques.

Kyle used to play basketball and even won a national championship in AAU back in high school. He then won back-to-back basketball intramural championships in 2014 and 2015. He knows how to help players reach their full athletic potential, but learned throughout his life that there are more important things in life than just individual accolades; he needed a teammate. His wife, MaryGrace Forbes, is his teammate in life. They both serve at Watermark Community Church and are a part of the best community group around.

His faith is extremely important to him. He loves the Mavs, Aggies, Cowboys, Lakers, Stars, and Rangers in that order. These teams are his passions!
